Holyrood Palace is the Queen’s Official residence in Edinburgh. It has been the home to royalty for over 500 years now. It is in the east of the city centre, at the foot of the Royal Mile.

Standing next to the Palace of Holyrood is the Holyrood Abbey stone ruins, which is one of the most grand medieval abbeys in Scotland.
